I ordered three dashcams and received three but it’s not the one I ordered. The dashcams do not have everything that was showed on the site. It is a cheaper version. The cameras were sent with the wrong direction manuals. The directions are for the cameras I ordered. I called the customer service number and was told I received the updated version of the dash cam and that I would receive an email with the updated manual. That was a week ago. I called again today and was directed to a website that just shows pictures of the dashcam box. https://offer.getvitaldashcam.com/offer/1/manual.php? When I click on “manual” the site goes back to the picture of the box.

I ordered these as Christmas gifts back in October and the company only gives you 30 day money back guarantee. And of course the company will not take the items back.

I researched dashcams and the website, Consumer Reports, had vital dashcams listed as the top product. From there, I went to the vital dashcam web, which looked legitimate, and decided to purchase 2 dashcams. The dashcams did not match the advertisement or manual provided, they were also defective and didn't work. I contacted vital dashcam to confirm the address for a return of the defective products, but they refused to provide it, instead offering me a partial refund and stating I could keep the product. I contacted them several more times attempting to get the return address and their response was to increase the partial refund up to 85% an tell mthat if I do a return they would have to charge me a restocking fee. I responded to that stating the products are defective and can't be restocked or resold, so you can't charge a restocking fee in this type of case and that their website stated it had a 100% customer satisfaction or money back guarantee. The last response I received was that they are refunding me 85% of my purchase and have still refused to provide the return address despite the number of times I requested it and the fact I did not consent to the partial refund.
