I received a call from an automated message first stating that they have been trying to contact me about extending my cars warranty which was somewhat believable since I just gained full ownership of my car and I at one point had a 3yr warranty. What tipped me off was that I was never contacted about extending my warranty from the dealership I originally purchased from and then when a live representative then answered they had no idea why I was calling to which I responded I just received a call from you about extending my cars warranty? The response was "Oh yeah would you mind telling us your car make, model, and vin #. I then asked what agency are you calling from? Expecting them to respond with the dealership name, they instead hung up.

Received a phone call from this number and our caller ID showed Boeing Corporation. Since we know people that work at Boeing I thought I better answer. Caller claimed to be from the vehicle warranty department and was calling us about renewing our vehicle warranty, which we never had. I immediately said no and hung up.

Had I said yes, I am sure they would have requested credit card information to scam me out of money.

I have been contacted by these people 20 times in the last week, They stated that they are calling from vehicle warranty department, then they ask you if you still own your car give you a the car model and year. ( in my case this was a previous car I owned). When I asked why do you need to know this information, they say we are the warranty department blah blah blah. Then i said well then why isnt the company that i bought the car from calling instead of you.

The person then hung up on me.

Repeatedly calls me. I answered and the person said “I’m calling from your vehicle warranty department”. When I asked if they were calling from ***, he hung up. I called back and it’s a recorded message asking me to provide information. It’s a scam. Do NOT answer!

Have been called 5 times in two days by same number. It has been same two people. The first ask if I am a owner of a 2011 Dodge ram and if I want to extend my warranty. Everytime I have said I have never owned that vehicle and then they just hang up.

Robocall said they were from my vehicles warranty department and asked if I'd like to speak with a person. I said yes because I wanted to be removed from the calling list, and the line immediately disconnected.
