My sister saw a Facebook post searching for a tutor for their daughter and forwarded it to my a mother, a former teacher. She made contact with Michal. Micheal wouldn’t answer the phone. Only text. He asked for no references, and prepaid $700 for 20+ sessions without even speaking to my mom. He said he was going through a divorce, his lawyer had to send the check. Mom received an email from a generic email address that contained a fake looking “e-check”. Michael insisted she Mobil deposit it that night. Mom was concerned and said she would do it the next day. I came over and put a stop to it when I found out what was going on and thankfully she didn’t lose any money, but he has her name, email, and phone number.
