Caller named "Mike" left a voicemail on my personal phone. Did not sound like a robo call. Number that showed up on my phone was 773-352-9784. Voicemail used my first name and noted they were trying to make an overnight delivery that was turned away and they asked for a return call to 855-736-0309. I returned the call from my business phone line and was directed to "Nicole" who said she would look up my delivery and asked for my first name and company name. After I provided basic information without last name, she said it was a free shirt for my favorite baseball team in appreciation of all of our purchases. I have never purchased material from this company for my business. I told her "No thanks" and did not provide any additional information other than first name they already had and my general company name. She did not push for any other details, but reading information on the ScamPulse.com site is sounds very familiar with other scams reported.

Person called stating they were from US Standard Products saying they wanted to thank us for our business. We have never heard of this company and have never ordered from them. They said they had free Tigers t-shirts to send us to thank us. We looked it up online and it looks like this company offers people "free" things or "samples," but then sends them bills for the products plus the shipping and it's all astronomically priced. They also previously called us saying they had a package meant for us that got returned to them twice and they wanted to verify our address to ship it back out. But we did not order from them and if we had, they would have our address. They were again trying to send us products that we didn't order that they could bill us for. I don't know how a business like this can be allowed to operate with scamming sales calls like this. Do not order from this company and do not give them any of your information over the phone.

They called and said they were trying to send something to my address and had the wrong zip. They had a free packers T-Shirt they wanted to send me for being a loyal custromer. They wanted me to verify my information, which I promptly hung on them after trying to pull this information out of me. They knew my name, and old address and by the sounds of it some more info.

"Tracy" of "U.S. Shipping" said there was a failed delivery attempt to me last week. She wanted to get a job name or PO #. Told her I knew nothing about it and had not ordered anything. She said she would connect me to the company that sent it. I was put on hold and then a "Jill" of U.S Standard Products came on and started out with pleasant weather talk. Told her I didn't have time, did not know of her company, and I did not order anything. She quickly said "We sent you a catalog, have a great day, bye."

I guess by not giving her any information or buying into the story, I dissuaded her from going any further with the phony delivery story.
