I noticed several charges on my account for $29.95 from a company called “repuppy” with the phone number listed as 800-318-4261. I looked this business and phone number up, and when I attempted to call the phone number it said it was cancelled. I emailed the email address on file and never got a response (shocker). I froze my card and got a new one and was still receiving notifications that the same company had attempted to charge my frozen card. I got my new card and have been so very careful about where I shop, especially online. Today I noticed several charges on my NEW card for $29.95, this time from a company called “my humidify.” But the phone number tied to the charge was the same phone number as the the “repuppy” charges on my account. I’m baffled and unsure how they got my new debit card information, but nonetheless they are obviously a scam and they got well over $300 from my account.
