Told UBS rep that there was an error and asked to have my number removed. UBS rep said that he had an error, too, and there should be a million dollars in his bank account. The rep never said he would remove my number. Told him I was going to report him. He said "Have a good day" and hung up.

They said that they were an attorney for Ace check cashing and was extending the courtesy for me to settle out of court, but could not provide any documentation before getting my account. They had no records other than my phone number and last 4 digits of my social. While I was on the phone with them, I googled the company and there were several scam reports. When I told the lady (Patricia), she put me on hold to confer with the attorney about providing proof of what I was paying for nor did they mention that they were a debt collector....

When she returned to the line, she said that the attorney said that they could not provide anything prior and good luck in court...and she hung the phone up in my face.

Claimed to have court documents regarding a payday loan that had not been paid back. Was very rude and repeatedly hung up on me. Also called my family to try to have them contact me. After several calls, the numbers they had given me were saying no longer in service.

I received a call from my ex-husband of 14 years stating that Jennifer Brooks from UBS Litigation was trying to track me down to serve me with court papers. When I called 855-210-1658 another lady answered by the name of Monica Jackson stating that I bounced a check to cash now payday loan back in 2010 and that I owed $520 and if I didn't pay it I was going to have to go to court Sept 2nd and pay over $3000 in court fees. She threatened me by telling me that they will report it in my background record and it will be posted as a criminal offense. She had a male call me claiming to be an officer who wouldn't give me his badge number. I know I do not owe any payday loans. This is truly a scam. I am yet waiting to be served.

Pretended to know a family member who owed money but put me as a secondary signature and said I owed 1000 but I could send 500 now and it will be settled. I tried to get information but was met with rude comments and threats. I was hung up on several times and each time I called back the company name changed and another person answered. They couldn't even tell me what UBS stood for and was also threatened to be put on a list which would call me all day.

They called with a message to call a different number 8552779742 about a online payday loan fraud case. Informed me they would send a process server to my door within two hours. However, they could make a deal to lower the amount if we could do something today. I refused, they threatened again about the process server. I hung up called the BBB. They said it was a scam however to contact my financial institution.
