Called us to sell our Timeshare, Led to believe it would sell quickly. Paid the money and never heard again. I had to call them so the listing would still be viable.

Just received a call and will be sure to delete the voicemail message and BLOCK. I wonder how they get our names?!

It would be fantastic if there was a company that legitimately did this for us besides us having to post an Airbnb and of course selling is out of the question...people can buy these nightmare timeshares that we got sucked into for a $1 on EBay (If they want to buy a lifetime of ever-increasing maintenance fees).

Thank you all for sharing your experience.

Well, I now know that I was also scammed!
I paid Uberdestinations .com $1985.00 in January 5th, 2021, it’s now February 25th and when I call the number I was given to contact “Joseph Lewis”, it was disconnected in the last week or so!
Now I’m looking to get my refund after finding out how unethical this so called company is!

I’ll keep you updated!

The same happened to me! Please keep updating us!

I was called and asked if I wanted to sell my timeshare with Uber destinations and was assured that the timeshare would sell within a couple months and that any requests would go straight to me. It sounded good and the website looked legit so I shelled out $3,000 for their advertising services. The contract said if it doesn’t sell in six months, to write to them to renew it for free. Also sounds pretty good! (Marked it on my calendar so I wouldn’t forget). Fast forward a couple months, I hadn’t received any requests. So I searched online and pretended to be a buyer and sent a request. I received NOTHING. When I complained, they said they have filters to block “spam” and that’s why it didn’t go through. I wasn’t too sure. Before the six months was up, I requested a renewal, which was confirmed. I checked the listing, it was still up. About 4 months after THAT, I was getting really anxious about it so I checked again and the listing was GONE. I emailed them requesting a refund because they breached our contract and if they want to settle it outside of court they better give it to me. I doubt they’ll respond and I’ll probably not get my money back but putting my experience out there. Don’t be fooled! Uber destinations is a SCAM!

I received a cold call asking me if I wanted to rent or sell my timeshare - of course I do, but the more I listened the more it sounded like a scam. They wanted almost $2000 by credit card before they would send me their "agreement" and they were promising to rent and then sell my timeshare for significantly more than I paid for it. Each time I refused to give them my card information, they transferred me to another person who gave me a hard sales pitch again. They walked me to their website and wanted me to look at reviews, claimed the "latest event" tab would show me why my timeshare was suddenly in such high demand - all the things that another reviewer said here. Luckily I browsed ScamPulse.com scams while I was on the phone with them and found one that said EXACTLY the same things they were telling me. I ended up hanging up since they wouldn't stop telling me how honest they were and how they don't understand how I can not believe them when they've showed me what wonderful things they can do. My timeshare is in Vegas, in case that's relevant.

I am so glad I looked up this supposed company. I received a call from them telling me they could help to either rent or sell our time share. To my surprise I found someone had already reported this company, same phone numbers that they had given her, they gave me, similar story with same numbers! I just glad I didn't send them any money.

I live in Canada. Someone phoned me from Albuquerque NM yesterday, wanting to know if I'd like to rent or sell our ***  timeshare. This agent said his company could rent or sell it for us.He said his name was Michael Letoure. The company is called Uber Destinations. He gave me not only his 1-800 phone # plus his extension of 418 but he also gave me a local phone number of 505-466-5226.He gave me a website to go to www.ubdestinations.com. and when I pulled it up, it seemed very legitimate by the looks of it. He was so very convincing, and said he wouldn't get paid until he sold this property for us. He said he could rent our timeshare for $2200.00 to $2500.00 per week and he could sell our timeshare for between $29,000.00 and $31,000.00. Said he had hundreds of people waiting to rent and/or buy because of all the events annually in various locations across the states (he had me click on the "latest events" button on their website) and because our timeshare was the most popular location(he had me click on "top locations" on their website) because it's so close to Disney World in Florida. This agent knew everything about our *** timeshare. However, I told him, "I know this is gonna cost me something, how does this work for you to rent or sell our timeshare property?" He said "we're like a management company, it will take anywhere from 1-6 months to sell your property" so he then said he'd need $1985.00 for their services of putting our timeshare on the market to sell FIRST!. My husband and I do want to sell our timeshare but we've been ripped off in the past by a similar scam, so we don't trust anyone that calls us now offering a deal to sell. Especially when we have to pay $$ upfront. I told him I had to talk with my husband first, and when I told this agent that we've been ripped off before like this and we don't trust anyone, he said, "I understand. I've been working here for 6 years and I'm a good Christian, I would never do that." He even offered to have their company go after the company that ripped us off if I had all the paper work if it happened within the last 7 years. There were just too many "red flags" and I was happy to have an opportunity and good sense not to be scammed a second time. I told him to phone me back today at 1pm with mine and my husband's decision. A google search showed zero results about any company called Uber Destinations. The 1-800 # did come up in Albuquerque NM but that didn't surprise me. The 505 phone number came up as a Sante fe Mx ph#. And a ScamPulse.com search came up zero results on this company.

So in my attempt to continue researching this company I came across an online company called *** *** *** who can check out fraudulent info for people. So I paid my $5 trial fee and communicated with a lawyer *** ***. He helped me by answering all my questions within less than 1 hour. He was excellent at helping me identify that this was indeed a scam and had all the "red flags" in the sales pitch. Also, he couldn't find any information about this company anywhere and he said they are not registered in New Mexico. *** provided me with this website to file this complaint with the BBB. And he gave me other sites to file complaints with. I hope other people have access to this information so they won't get caught in this company's scam! Thank you.
