I received an email regarding remote customer service work and i applied to quite a lot of remote work lately but having had an issue before with job scammers on indeed i knew this didn't seem right. The last scammer it was very similar emailing me about work that just seems too good to be true but the email is very unprofessional. There is no telephone number supplied, address, and also the email links they sent from don't seem ok either and they ask you to download whatsapp, skype, zoom thats a few i have had. They will interview you via the chat asking for all personal details, and also asking you to forward info such as ID, passports, addresses then they also offered to send me money for kit but wanted me to log in to my bank to check that i received and check my account. Careful and research as much as possible, this is who recently offered me a job:

Trust care data entry scam

The asked to interview me with Microsoft teams which isn’t odd to me since I’m always on there . Then they never had a video interview it was all chat . Not even 24 hours later they sent me a offer letter with a NJ address . Little do they know I was born in NJ and it is a mansion not a healthcare facility .

Trust Health care scam

Saw it in linked, hiring for data entry clerk. Sent my resume and they emailed me to have a interview with Mr. Philip Coburn in telegram. So I was wondering why chat to chat interview? Im really eager to have a job so i just took the opportunity. Sad to say its a big scam!

I knew it was fishy when I asked where they got my resume from and it was a website I never heard of. They also did not provide a telephone number to call and wanted to speak through messenger. My email read “ Dear Applicant,

I am Roddy Wilson, a recruiter at TrustCare Health. I would like to congratulate you for having been chosen for the opportunity to interview for the position of Remote DATA ENTRY REPRESENTATIVE for the company worth 30.11/Hr. This is coming after we have received your interest in the position and I will like to help you take the next steps in the application process by scheduling your career briefing and interview.

As per our recruitment criteria, your skills and qualifications meet our demands. We are welcoming you with the hope that you will contribute your best to meet the company’s standards. I can assure you that working remotely with us will also make you satisfied.

Your designated interview manager Mr. Philip Coburn is very interested in meeting you to share more about this opportunity

LAURA WILTON IMPOSTER - TRUSTCARE HEALTHCARE

Hello!

I had the exact same thing happen to me regarding the recruiter Kyra Davis who was the initial text, then asked me to download the Chatwork App, Add the HR Manager who goes by Laura Wilton, and then she did an "interview and screening" they also emailed me from an UNOFFICIAL EMAIL from a man "Berkw Crawford"...which if you look closely has the word "health" misspelled as "heaalth" with two A's. The sent over all of the paperwork, W-2, Contract, Asked for a photo ID, etc.

What I found completely odd was that these people send you a check for you to buy your own working supplies and set up. I didn't deposit the check as I did not want to be liable for the amount on there as it was over 5k. The check address was also coming from a random name from Tennesse and the issuer was an establishment in New Jersey it came with a letter with instructions from a person named "John Lewis".
Laura Wilton insisted I deposited the check and even reached out to me on the weekend to ensure I had the deposit. When I questioned her if this was safe she replied with "this is a ligament job offer and I don't know what you are talking about".
That doesn't sound like a professional HR Manager Verbiage. I did so much digging in and the more I looked nothing came up.

I had to go into LinkedIn and message the HR ManagerI found to try and verify this person worked there.

Long story short, I hope this post helps someone!

I was contacted through text message in regard to my resume from Indeed because Iam actively looking for a homebased job, I said yes, I was interested. They asked me to download an app which i did and had a conversation through text with a person (Laura Wilton). Stated they were with a company called trust care and gave me a verification code. I was told I would have two days of training which today I have been up since 4am thinking I have training, but they send me the normal Items you fill out when starting a new job, letter, tax document and a copy of my DL.

they sent me an email stating they were sending me a check via email to cover the cost of a laptop, software etc, I called the actual company this morning, she stated I was the 5th person this morning to call about this.

These scammers are using an actual companies information, and I have reached out to the company. I knew it was a catch when they did the so called interview through zoom chat. During the chat they wanted to know if I had a checking account and said they will send me a check for my mini office set up, and to keep 500 for my sign on bonus. They sent me a W2 form, employment contract, and a Photo ID for a work badge. I never sent back the paperwork, nor did anything further with them. Here is what was sent to me below and attached is the employment contract they wanted me to sign:

Dear Career Builder Applicant,

I am Ms Sarah Lawson, a recruiter at TrustCare Health, Our hiring team has received and reviewed your resume and we believe you are capable of handling these positions based on your resume.

Payment : Our starting salary for the position is 35.75 per hour ($1,430 weekly).

Work hour / Schedule : (8:00 AM - 4:00 PM Monday – Friday; full-time & part-time), pay cycle is weekly or bi-weekly depending on your preference.

Position Hiring: Available Remote Positions are as follow : Medical Billing/Translator/Admin Assistant/Data Entry Clerk/Customer Service Rep/Payroll/management/ Supply Chains and Logistics/ Dispatch Associate/Maintenance Technician/ IT / Help Desk/ Financial Analyst ".

Thank you! I was scammed by these folks playing like they were a different company. When they didn’t get all they wanted from me, this guy told me he’d make my life a living hell.

I was just contacted by “this” company — a lot of it seemed the same, so I looked for a scam relating to the company and this popped up. Rather odd they’ll offer a job sight unseen without ever having time to check your references. This gives me reassurance my nose is right on this one. Slimy SOBs!

BTW, the person they linked me with is supposedly named George Beckham. Strangely the last scammer also went by George.
