Ordered something online. Received this email: "Accept greetings from the entire family of Transways Cargo delivery Service.

We write to inform
You of the good news we have, after the creation of your discreet account to ship discreetly with our agency, you’ll not have to create it again. You’ll use this discreet account for your subsequent shipments via our agency.
To recall you, your shipment was scheduled for 24hours delivery and right now your package has successfully reached. From there delivery will proceed to your address

But Your package requires 3 custom stamps so that it could be discharged from the warehouse. By acquiring these stamps your package will not have to go through custom checks since it was shipped as discreet otherwise your package will be scanned and the content will become known to the customs

Each custom stamp cost = $250
For 3 stamps will cost $250*3=$750

You need to acquire these stamps so that your delivery can be completed as scheduled .

NB: “THIS FEE WILL BE REFUNDED AFTER YOU GET YOUR PACKAGE BY OUR COMPANY”.

Embarrassed to admit that I actually paid 500 of the fee they were requesting - they discounted it because I told them I was broke. THEN I received this gem:

We write to inform you that your total refund of $1050 has been acknowledged by the company and will be sent to you today . In order to get this money refunded to you now you will need to do the activation process that’s to say you have to activate your refund.

With the activation process you pay half of what the company is owing you to proof that the refund belongs to you and this payment is also added to your refund this is for security purposes since we have been receiving so many complains from customers not getting their refund.

The activation fee you have to pay for your refund is $525 which has already been added to your refund so the total refund you will receive on delivery after you pay the fee for the activation will be $1575. This refund will be given to you via Cashapp as you requested immediately the activation fee is paid .

NOTE: IF THE ACTIVATION FEE IS NOT PAID THE DELIVERY WILL BE PLACED ON HOLD BECAUSE CUSTOMERS NEED TO GET THEIR PACKAGE AND ALL REFUNDS AT THE SAME TIME SO IF ACTIVATION FEE IS NOT PAID THE REFUND WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE

Told the seller that this was a [censored]ing scam and now he's trying to just get another 225 from me.

Oh and it was 300 to create the "discrete account".

This company claims to have been in business for 10 years but their website was registered in August, 2022.

Feel like an [censored] and can't believe how much money they actually got from me.

Had purchased an item online and was given a tracking number for transwaycargo.com and got a text from the delivery service stating:

Initially found on Craigslist, I thought this puppy would be perfect. The story I was told was that the seller lost her son and therefore they needed to re-home their 8 week old golden retriever puppy. The ad was located in Seattle, WA, but upon talking with her she said they had to move urgently to El Paso, TX. Ok fine. $400 for the puppy and they would ship her directly to our door within 48 hours. She provided photos and the shipping company sent me Tracking information. The site had no contact information or additional Terms of Service, etc. Seller said I had to pay $550 for a crate fee--I did so. Both payments went through Zelle, but she also offered ApplePay through her SON (who I thought passed away, no explanation on that) and WalMart gift cards. I then saw the puppy be transported to Indianapolis, Indiana as a stop. I was then told I needed to pay pet insurance- $450. Now sounding really fishy, I called the number of the company that the SELLER gave. No answer. Later that day, I got a call from the company, which the man had a different accent and sounded very rushed. He said I actually needed to pay $475 for additional food. All paid to the seller, NOT the company. I stopped all communication at that point. A few missed calls, but no voicemails. My bank couldn't retrieve the $950 I already paid. Two weeks later, I asked the seller to refund me. She said I need to pay $300 to have the puppy sent BACK to El Paso and she would sue me for pet abandonment, because apparently the dog was still in Indiana. With all the research I've done, this is an A+ scam and I feel like a total [censored]. I paid $950 to learn a lesson.
