Contacted by someone claiming to be with a business called Alternative Investment Management and Research in Geneva Switzerland, they were claiming that they were going to be taking over the Westgate Resorts in Orlando, FL. They were contacting me because they want to either buy or take over my time share. I am actually not seeking to sell my timeshare. They then proceeded to ask me for a lot of information that I did not feel comfortable sharing. When I told them I wanted to do some research first, they tried to convince me that their offer was time sensitive, and I only had a couple of days to respond. I again responded that I would need to do some research first, and that ended the conversation. There is no information available online or otherwise that can confirm that the ownership of Westgate Resorts has changed.
