This is a highly unresponsive organization run by one person (Tina Chase). I sent my $20 payment through PayPal to renew my membership with Therapy Pets Unlimited for the first time in January 2020, emailed 3 follow-up messages with no response, and still get a notification that I have not renewed my membership. After I sent a Facebook message, Tina stated that the website was down since November but now up and running since Feb 22, 2020...However, I still see no change in membership status one week later. I am now expecting a refund and will escalate this to a PayPal claim if needed.

I signed my dog up for pet therapy training classes, certification. Paid the fee for the classes, my check was cashed, I attended all the classes, my dog passed the class, I was sent an email by the trainer that my dog passed the class. Then completed a form, had to take my dog to our veterinarian for a full health exam and testing. Completed the health test and other required testing's by our veterinarian. Faxed the information to Therapy Pets Unlimited at our local UPS store, Talked to the Tina at the Michigan office, she told me she did not do any work for the non-profit in the month of December because of the holidays, she would take care of the paperwork. Since December of 2018, I have not received a reply by phone call, mail or internet. I sent the paperwork required by regular mail and certified mail. The certified mail was returned unclaimed to the address supplied on the web site and on all the TPU's correspondence. As well I sent a certified letter to the founder in Maryland and that certified mail was returned as well. Due to the inability to talk to a human being, certified mail returned on two occasions, failure of the TPU to respond to emails, FaceBook posts, telephone calls I have no where else to turn. I have spent a money and been defrauded. I took time out for 10 trips twenty miles one way from my home, attended classes, spent hundreds at my vets office, gas money, time for nothing. I live in Arizona, the organization founded in Maryland and their home office/business is in Michigan.
