An ad popped up on my Facebook page for a signed copy of Stardust by Neil Gaiman for $35. I clicked the ad and it took me to a page to order the book. Nowhere on the order page did it specify that by ordering the book at a discounted price I was enrolling myself in a program to receive another RANDOM book at a cost of $100+. I made sure to read all the fine print on the order form because it all sounded too good to be true. Nowhere on that order form OR on the e-mail confirmation was it stated that my credit card would be charged a second time for an item I wouldn't even get to pick out. I complained to the company and they stated that the facebook ad I clicked on had this fine print. I had to google search to find the image I'd seen, and while the "fine print" does appear to be on the image, the trickery of it is that on facebook only the top portion of this ad is visible (if the fine print was ever included on facebook to begin with I can't be certain). This is incredibly deceptive and they make it incredibly hard to cancel your "membership". The fine print should be included where payment information in input so customers can make informed decisions about their purchases.
