I got a job! Or so I thought. They paid all shipping, all it cost me was time & gas money. I worked the 30 days agreed on but I never got paid!

Was "hired" as a contract 1099 distributed warehouse. Over the course of my "trial" month, I was sent several packages, such as Laptops, tech rings, clothing, etc. Stored them and then shipped them when sent a label. After my trial month was over I was supposed to be paid, but never received a check. I was sent an email that the check was sent out, I received another email confirming it had been sent, but then never received it. Further contacting the company has failed as they have not replied in several weeks and their portal I was accessing order information through has been "under maintenance" for several weeks now.
