The scammer had my information about my Xfinity.com account. I made a payment over the phone and Xfinity.com never received the payment. My bank statement showed that they had withdrawn $240. My Xfinity.com account showed that i made a payment of $271.43. Ive been trying for 3 months to get my money back. My bank says, after 3 calls to them, that now its too late to file a claim. The cable company says that i have to get the refund from the bank because the company that i paid wasn't them.

This number calls everyday to verify our google account. Most of the time when I do the full company greeting they just hang up. Today I answered and just said hello and was able to speak to a human. I asked him to remove us from the call list and he said okay I will call you tomorrow. I repeated again, please remove us from the call list and he them said okay I'll call you in an hour. I repeated myself again and he said okay I will call you tomorrow and hung up.

All of the identifying information I provided was from our caller ID.

pop-up said I had a Windows Defender error code and should immediately call tech support to rectify the problem. I immediately disconnected from the internet and made the call. A women with a very heavy Indian accent told me to allow her to remotely enter my computer and she would fix the problem. When I told her to just give me the info to fix it myself she said no and got huffy and to go to Microsoft Pinpoint and check them out. Don't allow these people access to your computer!!!
