I was googling riding lawn mowers and I found one at a ridiculously low price on a website called genewer.shop. I was going to buy it even though I was suspicious, but my credit card company blocked the transaction due to fraud potential. Also it said the charge was attempted by a website called gazebogurus.com. So I called the number listed on that website and some man answered very unprofessionally and couldn't answer any questions. I asked "how can you have such low prices?" and he mumbled something about his sales team. Then I kept pressing, asked "what is the name of your business" and he hung up on me.

I did a search on Duck Duck Go for Women's Sketcher Viper Pro Court Pickleball Shoes. It pulled up a list of several stores with a link which took you to that specific webpage. I went to the website, put the shoes in my cart and proceeded to pay. There was an option to Login but no option to set up an account. I entered my name, address, phone number and email address. The payment options were listed a little strangely. Twice, the seller requested payment with PayPal or a card stating if the funds didn't come through PayPal he would go after them on a credit card. The other option was PayPal.

I don't have PayPal so moved forward to charge my card. The next screen talked about how safe PayPal is and said lets get started setting it up. Enter your email address. I skipped that screen but it wouldn't let me go forward. I tried going backwards to set up an account and the only option was to Login. Then the item in my cart and my personal information disappeared. I then did a search on the website to see about scams. The website scam-detector.com gave them a Trust Score of 77.6. They said the industry or niche was skincare products.

Then I decided to go directly to the website and search for the shoes. I received an error message saying "No Products Matched That Selection".

Sent in inquiry over for 4 AWG Welding cable amongst several other items. Provided pricing & delivery then requested 30,000FT of the same item, proceeded to ask for company credit application. Called his number and heard a foreign accent. Asked for his address and he paused, heard him shuffling thru some paperwork and repeated the address but seemed very unsure. I then googled the address to discover a non commercial building. I Proceeded to ask him about his info and he has some incorrect answers. Asked him if he felt good about scamming people then hung up.

I ordered off a Facebook page. Got confirmation and my card was charged on January 28. Sent emails on early February no response. Got a message March 1st it was shipped and a FedEx tracking number. FedEx said it was delivered on March 5th with a photo of the address. Not my house. Fedex will not let me do a case because the shipping address is not mine

I purchased a kitchen aid mixer on 1/1/24 from this company. After a few weeks I wrote requesting the status. No response. Wrote again. Received response saying product shipped but could not give tracking number as their system was not working. Wrote again a few weeks later for update or refund. No response. Wrote again. No response.

I ordered 10 dresses on 1/27/24 from the beachsissi.com website with the intention of returning some after trying on. I paid via PayPal. I received the order on 2/17/24. The refund instructions said to email [email protected] for the return shipping address. When I emailed on 2/19/24 indicating I wanted to return several dresses and was requesting the return shipping address, "Justin" replied on 2/20/24 and said, "It's OK to return. What items do you want to return? Could you please provide specific reason why you want to return the item so that we can better help you?" I responded on 2/22/24 with the reason for return for 8 of the 10 dresses and again requested the shipping address for the returns. "Justin" then replied on 2/22/24 with this: "Hi Rita, Thanks for contacting me. Return is OK, but returning 8 items isn't good for you. We just want to protect your benefit at most. Our warehouse is in China. You can check the shipping cost to China first as a reference. Return shipping cost is high, it also might takes a long time, and it has possibility to be stuck at customs. But we can only refund you after we receive your return. That's why we can send you 3 new items for free, without any charge to replace return. You even don't need to pay shipping cost. You can select any item price under USD $37. Or we can refund $40 in total instead of return. Kindly please consider it. Contact us if you need help, we will offer you feedback ASAP." The total cost of the dresses I want to return is $289.92 (not including S&H). The total cost of the order was $365.90. I want my return money back. I want the address of where to ship the return items. I do not feel that I should be required to pay shipping to CHINA for items that I do not wish to purchase. This was not made clear at the time of order - otherwise, I would have never ordered the dresses to begin with. Can you please help me? Thank you very much!

The business is called SILK ON ME. There are two separate sites that they run through Shopify (one for the US, one for outside of US) Their “free Jewelry box” was advertised as an every month deal for being an ambassador. No where in the ads or email confirmation that there would be a recurring fee for shipping after the first month. I should note that I did not receive the first free month’s jewelry item that was supposedly shipped to me. I let it pass since it was free.

In December, I receive an email saying that my recurring charge for the “monthly free box” was declined for some reason. I also let it pass without much thought.

I contact support when I was first charged in January 2024 of $14.99. Support emails me saying I can’t get a refund but they have successfully cancelled my subscription and confirmed that I would not be charged anymore.

Next month February 5th 2024, I get an email confirmation saying my free box order was submitted. They have lied to me about cancelling my subscription and used my card without authorization.

I send an email to the one single contact email that is found on their website and company ([email protected]) ([email protected]). I get the same exact reply I got last month of not being allowed a refund and of my subscription being cancelled, again. Furious as I was, I contacted their other social media accounts like Instagram. I was told apparently the just “silk on me” is separate from “silk on me US” but under one company. The silk on me account responded but silk on me US did not respond. It is important to note that this company origin is in Netherlands and they have two separate sites (one for US, one of other locations) that they run through Shopify.

I then later saw after everything that many other customers have experienced this same issue of not being aware of the shipping fee charge, and being charged each month for subscription despite some also emailing to cancel it. They do not respond to emails related to wanting to cancel subscription or refunds. I keep emailing to get confirmation in writing that my account and personal information is deleted but am getting no response. I tested it with another email, emailing just a general inquiry and got a response within an hour so it proved to me that they are ignoring customer emails.

I tried to remove my credit card from the site but because it is the only method, I was not able to remove it. They have my card information and will not respond to a customer wanting their information deleted.

I want my money back from them of the two current charges now and all of my personal information deleted especially my payment info that they are not letting me remove.

BBB investigated Silk On Me's website and found that they are located in the Netherlands. Unfortunately the ScamPulse.com cannot pursue cases against businesses outside of the USA, Mexico and Canada. It is advised to report cyber scams to the FBI's Internet Crime Commission at ic3.gov and contact your bank to dispute charges.

I purchased a litter box for trial since the website says PLB will give you 30 days to try it. I purchased the item on 7/14/23 and it was delivered on 7/25/23. My pet would not use it, so, I initiated a return on 8/15/23 via email. This is following their return process. They gave me the run around on just getting a return label, so much so, when I repackaged the item (in original packaging) I photographically documented the item was clean, in working order, and packaged appropriately for return. FedEx confirmed delivery of the item on 9/12 with a photo of the package on their doorstep. Today is 12/28/23 and I have not received a refund for the product shipped back 3 months ago. I keep contacting them and they keep giving me the run around. Today's email from them is asking for my address to print another return label on an item they already have. Additionally, they are stating more money will be deducted from my original payment than what is stated for their "return fees." This company will take your money, but their website policies are a scam. Buyer beware!

I ordered from what I thought was a Sephora sight. They said it would take 1-3 days to ship, but it did not come. They used a tracking site and it looked like it was being shipped from Hong Kong. They failed to mention order would be shipped from there in the shipping information. Anyway, what I ordered never arrived. Finally, I get a small package with a cheap plastic watch in it. No way to contact as the email they provided is fake. Out $55.00 for what I thought was going to be a great Christmas gift for a family member.

The scammer showed photos of children (posted by supposedly verified customers in their reviews) playing with kits that were comprised of components that were much larger than those I received in the box. When I emailed the company to tell them I was disappointed in the product I received, they responded and told me that the product dimensions were clearly posted on their website: "Each stick has a length of 31 cm (12.2 Inch), and each ball has a diameter of 3,5 cm (1.3Inch)." This is correct, but that is one tiny sentence amongst hundreds of reviews and photos that show a very different product. The intent of the vendor was clearly to make the customer assume they were purchasing a full-size product, and not the product they describe in a single sentence. Even if I misunderstood what product I was ordering, I should not be under any obligation to keep the product without a refund (even if I am responsible for covering the return shipping).

I have a storefront through Shopify and as part of that have access to advertisers such as TIK TOK(their billing info is listed as PIPO US INC). I set up some ads to run through them but wasn't happy with their performance, so I stopped and changed the ads. This is a standard industry practice known as optimizing. Shopify provides info on ad analytics including ad spend cost and the click rates of ads which I closely monitored. Days later I was billed multiple times by PIPO for ad services I had not received or authorized even after stopping the ads completely. My total ad spend was $52.37 and was charged in total $341.73. Upon speaking to them they were unable to substantiate the charges and blocked communication with me. My ad spend on 2 campaigns was $5.90 for one and another for $46.37.

After adding two items to my cart I was sent an invoice from...........and after I touched on PayPal to pay for the goods my account showed "Donation to .........". This is very suspicious and is definitely a scam. I tried to contact the seller and have had zero response. PayPal will not refund me because they say I gave a donation, that's not true I was paying the invoice for goods ordered. This company is a total scam!
