Misspelling of Location is Tipoff

I opened mail from Subscription Services in Seldon (incorrect spelling! - red flag #1) It should be Selden.) I receive a gift subscription to Guidepost so I don’t need to renew.(red flag #2) The address for subscriptions to Guidepost is Harlan, IA. (red flag #3)

Avoid doing business with Subscriptions Services!

This company charged my credit card for a savings plan membership in the amount of $34.95. I have never dealt with this company, I did not authorize this transaction, and I was unaware that they charged me until my credit card statement arrived. This is the second time this has happened and I had my old card closed because of fraudulent activity from a similar savings plan membership scam. No idea how they got my new card number? This company must be buying stolen identity information and charging people for fake services without thier consent or knowledge. This needs to be investigated ASAP.

I received an invoice from Subscription Services to renew my subscription to Guideposts Magazine, I sent a check for $18.97 for a one year renewal. Guideposts did not receive this check, as they are sending me an invoice to renew stating the magazine I received is my next to last issue. Subscription Services has scammed me out of $18.97.
