Student Processing Center Reports & Reviews (3)

I called Navient to enquire about a bank charge from ACI that no one could give me any information on, and then I got Stu Processing who said they had been taken over the by the U.S. Dept of Education and he sent me paperwork to enroll me in the student loan forgiveness program. He sent me paperwork for a one-time payment and then $59 per month. Then I suspected something fishy because of all the info he was asking me (full SS # not just last 4 digits) and he got very pushy which made me more suspicious. The paper work was full of weird stuff and typos so I didn't sign it. He also wanted me to do it there and then online and didn't want me to get off the computer to read it before signing. That was also a huge red flag.

Please be aware when you are searching your lender customer service number. I original searched for my lender's number, and a number popped up. Therefore, I thought it was the correct number. Once I reached a "representative" the woman identified herself, and I ask if she worked for my lender. The woman said she worked for the company. I was mislead into a loan forgiveness program, and they wanted me to pay for an application fee. I went through the entire process of giving all of my information, which was very oblivious on my part. After I went through the entire process I began to feel like this was a scam. After some research, I saw this company is scamming individuals out of their money. Fortunately I was able to cancel my debit card and freeze my social security number. Hopefully, I am able to get a new driver's license number because they have this information as well. I really hope they do not use this information, but I have monitoring on all my personal information now. So if you ever want to find you lender's number go to your Federal Student Loans account.

Student processing center falsely claimed they were with the student loan program and said they would correct my student loans. They said to get my loans into a forbearance I would need to pay $578.00 then pay 100.00 for two months and then 59.00 for 36 months. They claim to be an intermediate between the student processing and the department of Education. They are not in any way connected to either program. The department of Education did some research and found this company is a fraud. They refused to refund my money and then they said they will cancel any additional help with my student loans. This company is also referred to as Prominent Doc LLC.
