They tried to leave the impression they were connected to or working with the Department of Ed. I asked if they were a 501C3 NP, and they evaded the question. They kept asking for personal information about my student loans. I told them to please wait while I look them up on the internet. They hung up on me.

They call repeatedly, leaving messages saying that I have an incomplete application for their services and time is running out to complete my application.

I don’t have such an application, and don’t have any student loans, either, nor have ever had any.

When I asked directly if they were a for-profit company, they hung up. Prior to that, they used carefully chosen phrases to make it sound as if they were a government agency, without actually lying.

The number they left on the message was a working number.

This appears to be a fraudulent student loan forgiveness program that requires advanced fees for paperwork processing. They call from multiple unlisted numbers and have a nondescript website simply to gather your info for a "free consolation." They ask for personal information such as social security number, claim to have information about your personal federal student loans on file - but are unable to verify any of that data including who the lender is or how much is owed. They call multiple times a day from different numbers using a robo-message typically telling you that your student loan forgiveness file is about to be closed out and that they need you to call back as soon as possible in order to remain eligible.

Despite giving me the option to be removed from their call list, they continue to make unsolicited daily calls to me. I have contacted my federal student loan providers who have told me that this is a scam and that I should ignore any further calls. The problem is, I can't seem to get on their do not call list because they continue to call from different numbers with the same pre-recorded message. However, they have recently started to change/adapt that message to try and make it sound more convincing and/or urgent. If I call back and start ask to speak to the person who the message is from - they insist that I am speaking with a senior sales specialist. If I start asking questions, they hang up almost immediately.

Last day to get your student loans forgiven.....for 3 months of robo calls. Call Back Not working etc.

Company is a scam. They call every day asking for personal information. Representatives that speak broken English |transfer you to a debt relief specialist" who will try to feed you some bull**** about their legitimacy. I asked them for information like their website and for official information and they refused to give it me. SOMETHING IS WRONG WITH THIS COMPANY. VERY FISHY. DO NOT FALL FOR THIS. DO NOT GIVE THEM PERSONAL INFORMATION. Luckily, I stopped my wife before she gave any more personal information but they did happen to get her social security. Really upset with my wife right now. Called the police and was told nothing could be done except freezing credit since there are so many scams out there.
