I did an online search for the Stanley company, looking for a mug for a gift. Stanleyus came up showing a sale on the mug. When I tried to check out, I got a message my card was rejected/invalid. When going back to the site to obtain the web address, I noticed when it opened that it had something in the cart-it had TWENTY of a mug I had not tried to order. I've locked my card-there did not appear to be an attempt to charge it by this company. The phone number given on this site appears to be the same number used by other Stanley websites. Fine print at the bottom of the web page says "STANLEYUS is a brand of PMI © 2023 STANLEYUS,"

This website popped up first on my search for Stanley Cups as a Google Sponsored Ad, which made me think it was the official company. The website looked legit and was offering a huge sale. At checkout, I had put in my name, shipping address, phone number, email, and then finally Visa card info. When I hit submit, it said the card could not be processed or wasn’t authorized (can’t remember exact wording) and prompted me to submit a different card. After I did so, and it wouldn’t take either, I became super suspicious, and realized it hadn’t given me a shipping time frame or charged tax. Then I noticed the actual website included an extra S. I went back through the website to see if I had been scammed and found that most the about us type pages were normal but the product descriptions and shopping cart contained odd grammar that is common in people who speak English as a second language. I went to the search engine and found that the website was advertised by a company located in Hong Kong by the name of DOLLEAD TECHNOLOGY LIMITED. I’ve cancel my two debit cards and have ordered new ones since I believe they were logging the cards I inputted.
