Squaretradeus appears to be a scam.

I ordered a vehicle part from BAP on EBay. I paid more than $130 for a protection plan to allstateus, which is squaretradeus. I canceled the part within one hour of purchase without problem. Ebay refused to cancel the protection plan. I never received a written protection plan. Nor did I receive any method to contact an entity had I ever actually wanted to initiate a claim. Squaretrade appears to have many law suits against them. For this reason I blame EBay for my problem. But will file suit against squaretradeus and Allstate insurance, owner per Wikipedia.

I bought a car part for my vehicle and during the checkout the seller website advised squaretrade as a extended warranty for the part I was buying. It was 26.75 for additional two years. A few days later the seller that I purchased the car part from canceled the sale on me. That seller refunded my money. Then I try to contact squaretrade on eBay to let them know I needed a refund since the seller backed out. I never received a response. I contacted eBay and eBay stated on their site that they don’t handle consumers requests relating to refunds on warranty services. I was cheated out of my money. I probably wouldn’t had known I was cheated if the car part seller didn’t cancel the sale. I’m not the only consumer on their being scammed. Apparently EBay knows all about this but they refuse to do anything about this. I looked up the squaretrade user name on eBay and they go by squaretradeus. They have a fake profile on there stating they been on eBay for a long time. Also squaretradeus actually has a section on there where they had purchased some things from sellers on there.
