I went to Spectrum to address this twice and waited for hours, to be told they could not help me.
My cable bill has been in the rears since I started because it was never 49,99 the base plus fees is 137.00. I have paid an average 130.00 per month and the service never works.(18mths) They made me pay for a black box I did not need. The sales rep lied to me, A large majority of my neighbors are over 60 and live on SS. As I am. I spoke with a new CSR today only to find out no black box was ever required. Also, the only way service works correctly is, if you buy their bundle package. I was sold a product that was never gonna work correctly, (just local channels) I already had internet and did not want to change. They also don't have a 49.99 package. The deception The base of your cost starts at 49,99 and they add cost to the bill to get a final bill. for ex. 49.99 basic, then 20.00 to provide service, 20.00 for fees, 10.00 monthly rental, black box, (I needed one for each room if I wanted to watch in more than one room), and then you have taxes, FCC, and so forth. All the while assuring me my bill was only 49.99.
