Received an automated call from Tony Joel from the Head office of the Social Security Department stating that my social security number was deactivated due to illegal activity. He stated that I must call my allotted paralegal at 240-839-9667 or have my social security number revoked and all my assets seized.

Received a call from a number. I don't recognize: I listened to the voicemail and was told that this is Officer Malisa Brown calling you from the headquarters of the social security administration. Your social security number has been suspended.Please contact the emergency help line number which is: 830-308-7282. I marked no to question that asks if this was an attempt to take money because I did not speak to anyone. I did attempt to call the number out of curiosity as to what they would ask me. I was told to leave a message because the google subscriber could not answer the phone.

Recorded message claiming to be from social security office of inspector general. Told me my Ssn had been suspended and to call the number.

I received 2 phone calls from same number. Man said he was from social security office and asked me to smell my name then asked for last 4 digits of my social security number. When I questioned him and asked why, he threatened to send a police office to my address to arrest me. And he had my address. Then I asked to speak to a manager and he asked what I was scared of. He kept saying he was going to have me arrested. He was pronouncing my name wrong. He had a foreign accent. After I said that he would have my last 4 digits if he was truly from social security office, he hung up.

They say I'm applying for disability (I'm not) and that it is getting rejected. When I tell them I'm not doing that they hang up on me.

Caller says I am contacting you regarding your social security inquiry. I say I have not asked for that, what are you talking about, they will repeat it and then you ask them who they really are and they hang up. I get at least 1 call per day, if I decide to answer it, I tell them to take me off the calling list. I think they were after my social security number, which there is no way I would give that over the phone anyways.
