A few weeks later I received the following email and the same day a check via UPS in the amount of $1980.00.
The email reads as follows. I copied and pasted it here. My name has been removed as has the tracking # for UPS.
Dear Xxxxxxx,
We are touching base with you to let you know that we've been
officially notified from the accounts department that your first week
rental payment with the UPS Tracking Number xxxxxxxxxx had
been mailed to you and will be delivered to you today.
Follow below outlined steps: -
1. You should go ahead and deposit the check at your bank. To avoid
delays on the installation of the advert decal on your car, you should
make a quick mobile deposit of the check online using your bank's
mobile app.
2. Send us a clear snapshot copy of the deposit receipt so that your
payment can be cleared from the accounts department.
3. Blank out any confidential information on the deposit receipt
before sending us a clear snapshot of the receipt.
4. Touch base with us once the check clears for further instructions
on the decal expert's mail collection address you'll be sending the
rest money in form of money gram or western union money orders that
would be used for purchasing the decal materials and for the decal
experts' service charge.
5. After you've deducted your 1st week payment of $500, you should
buy 3 pieces of Money Gram or Western Union Money Orders of $1,000,
$1,000 and $247 each and mail it to the current mail collection point
of the decal experts. You shouldn't write any name on the Money Orders
and you should not detach the receipt of purchase from the Money
Orders. They should be blank Money Orders. The reason is that, it's
the available decal expert whose name would be filled on the Money
Orders, that is why you're not given a specific decal expert's name in
order to avoid the issue of unavailability of the decal expert you may
have written his/her name on the Money Orders when you buy it. YOU
SHOULD NOT WRITE ANY NAME ON THE MONEY ORDERS. You should also include
the receipt(s) of purchase of the MO in it. You should mail it to this
address using FedEx or UPS Express delivery and you should make the
delivery option NO SIGNATURE REQUIRED so that it can be delivered to
the address. FedEx or UPS Overnight delivery will cost $47. I have
already deducted the cost from the rest money. You should also email
me clear snapshot copies of the Money Gram Money Orders you purchased
before mailing them out. Let me know when you've purchased the Money
Orders so that I can send you the information to mail it to.
