I ordered a product off their website and I received it and it was charged to my credit card. A week or 2 later I saw another charge on my card for a cost double the initial cost. I called their phone number and they said to use the chat function on the website. There is no chat function. I did eventually receive an email from them explaining my free trial had ended and I hadn’t canceled my membership in time. There was NOTHING on the website about this being a membership/subscription service and the confirmation email only listed the 1 product ordered. They only sell 1 item and it’s not something that would warrant a membership/subscription. There is nowhere on the website to log into an account to cancel a “membership.” It’s a scam.

My spouse got an Instagram ad on 8/20/23, for a toilet bowl scrubber called Flexer. She proceeded to go to the ad and purchased one of the toilet bowl scrubbers, for half off of the $15 total. She received her email about the initial purchase, the only information in the email was about the order info, there was no other info except for an email for customer service. She was then charged 2 more payments for $18 and $19.98 on the same day, 8/20/23. Unknowingly, on 10/31/2023 her credit card was charged $34.99 from "SHOPFLEXER.COM". This activity proceeded to charge her $34.99 three more times on the dates 11/27/23, 12/24/23, and 1/20/24.

It was on 2/9/24 I was looking at Rocket money and saw these charges, notified her and she called. The rep on the call proceeded to tell her the $34.99 charges were for a membership. This membership would give the member (my spouse) a stipend to use on the store. But when looking into the website and the "membership" there is nowhere to log into an account or any information on the membership. Also the email my spouse received initially had nothing about a membership and the subsequent monthly payments. My spouse pressured the rep for a full refund and the rep said there would be an email with details about the refund. It has not been long since the call so she has not received the email.

This seems like a scam as they only offer 1 product (a toilet bowl cleaner), and have no information on the membership they offer.
