We received a post card with "Tax Notice" listed on one side and "Notice of Back Taxes" on the opposite side for property we own. According to the card, we are "at least 36 months behind on real estate taxes of $2347.56. If not current by March 31, Memphis city will begin auctioning off properties delinquent 18 months or more." To avoid losing your home, call (901) 878-5018 and then a case number is listed.

The taxes listed for the property have never been delinquent and are current. We consider this a scam and a ploy to get us to call.
