Site offered quick cash for unwanted gift cards with quick payout, and after I accepted the offer they gave me and entered information so the gift card amount could be verified I patiently waited for my payment, which never came. Then I logged into my account on their website and the transaction has been canceled, but it did not give a reason why or specify why they canceled the transaction so I decided to check amount on gift card I was trying to sell which contain the amount of $100 but they had taken it all and there was zero dollar balance remaining on card

On 11-22-24, I sold a Disney gift card for $25.00 on this site. Transaction# 22643. It said I should receive my payment of $18.75 within 48 hours. After a few days and no payment I sent an email to the address they said to contact [email protected]. The next day my email was returned as undeliverable. I went to the Disney store to attempt to use my gift card I had put on their site for sale but all the funds were gone $25.00. I want to let others know about these scammers.

The site Sellgift.cards claim they will buy your gift card. You enter the company of the card, number on the card, and the amount and they instantly send you a quote. I was told I would receive $17.50 for my card $25 walmart gift card within 48 hours. I accepted, but have never received any payment and it has been over a week. I never received any emails even though they asked for mine. They have no phone number, the support email address they give turns out to be a false address, and the twitter account linked to this site has been locked.. Since I still physically have the gift card and was not compensated, I thought I would check the balance. They have indeed taken all the money on it. When I go to the site it just says my sale is" in progress", the same it has read since the first day which was over a week ago. The site looks legitimate but now it is clear to see all the red flags. I have absolutely no means of reaching out to these people and I now believe that is by their design.
