Select Office Systems Reports & Reviews (3)

I was the new office manager of this building. Luckily I has replacing a very in the know woman when it came to these scammers. When she was giving me the rundown on the phone and who to transfer and who to dump into voicemail, there were a few people she said to go ahead and just dump or hang up on altogether. Select Office Systems, Inc was one of them. Now, My first encounter with them, I didn't recognize the name, he spoke VERY fast, sounded VERY professional and knew the name of our printer, the name of our Server it was on, and the type of Toner it needed. I knew it was flashing for low toner, and the lady I was replacing had told me that they'd be calling to check for the levels and if it was running low yet... so I stupidly assumed this was them. Her warnings and red flags blowing right out of my mind.
2 weeks later we got a toner. 4 days later we got an invoice. $621.00 FOR TONER!? I jumped on amazon and sure enough. $168.00 same crap. WTF. um no sir. The invoice plainly as the nose on my face said no refunds no returns. So I waited. Waited till he called again. I knew he would.
He did. "Select office systems, Inc. Looks like you need some taskalfa blah blah blah toner blah blah we have 2 left at our warehouse we can get you 1 right now at our old price, the price is going up, so I'll have them ship it to you right now for the lower price. Good?"
So I told him, NO not good. we don't need it. No longer have this printer. We won't need your services. Please don't call me again.
2 weeks later we got a toner. 4 days later we got an invoice... again... $621.92 AFTER I TOLD THEM NO AND TO NOT CONTACT ME AGAIN.
thats some scammin crap right there. Not only did I tell them that i don't have the printer anymore, I told them I do not need their services. Still... they sent me the over priced expensive toner.

They call companies pretending to be your supplier for printer toner/ink. They call to "confirm" your order of black toner ink and they will be shipping it to the address and expect you to pay their outrageous invoice of $*** or more.

Received a call from an employee Aaron Davis who said he was with the company that we currently have a contract with for our printer/copier. He stated there was going to be an increase to the price of our black toner but they had not gotten the notice out in a timely manner and would like to offer the toner to us at the original price. I stated that we had a contract with the company so it would be sent out without any additional charge correct? He stated yes and asked if I would like for them to send it. I said yes, that would be fine and he double checked my email address (he never sent an email). I received another phone call today from another employee to confirm the shipment before they sent it. This time, the employee said he was from Select Office. I told him that the guy I spoke with yesterday, Aaron, said that he was from our contracted company to which he stated "he may be new or something". I told him that we didn't want the product, and out of curiosity, how much were we going to be charged for the item (mind you, I was told the day before that it was "under our contract and wouldn't cost anything"). He stated $181, and I said I would like to speak to a manager. He stated he would cancel the order and mark the account to not call and for me to have a nice day. I asked again to speak with a manager. He placed me on hold, came back a minute later and stated he didn't know how to transfer the phone and to give me another minute. He promptly hung up the phone. Calls came from a blocked number.
