Door to door sales person came to new development selling water softeners and home security. They sold me an $8,500.00 softener unit with a reverse osmosis for the sink and said I just needed to add salt for the softener. Upon purchase they had me go through a financing company. 8 months in I started have issues. I called to get service and no one showed up. Then they sent me an invoice to replace filters for $500 without even coming out to inspect the unit. Tried multiple times to get someone out and no luck. Called a plumbing company and was told that the work was done illegally and incorrectly. I then called the plumbers association and they confirmed that no one at the company is a licensed plumber and that they installed the unit incorrectly/illegally.
