I was scammed out of baby formula which I desperately need for my daughter. The “store”, which is operating on the Facebook page “Baby Formula and Cereals” said they had the Alimentum ready-to-feed which I needed in stock. We agreed on a price for 10 bottles + shipping, and I naively sent $130 through Zelle to a “Tanashia Wilson-Harrison”. I was told I could track my order through “http://sdmarine-freightlogistics.com/”. Then I received a very unprofessional email from “SD Marine” at the address “[email protected]”, asking me for $110 more dollars for an “insurance fee”, stating I would receive the money back when the product was delivered. They claimed this fee was required by the FDA, and signed the email “Thanks, FDA”. I looked up the “shipping company” online, and found almost nothing about them, except for a few previous scam reports. I contacted the sender (Baby Formula and Cereals). I gave them the benefit of the doubt that maybe they were unknowingly using a scam shipping company. I asked for a different shipping company, a refund, or a way to receive they baby formula without having to pay a deposit. They told me they were “discussing with them” (meaning the “shipping company”), and then got back to me a day later saying “They won't deliver without insurance”. I asked to cancel my order and receive my money back, but “Baby Formula and Cereals”/“Tanashia Wilson-Harrison” have yet to return my money.
