They called my cell and work phone about a defaulted payday loan. I've never taken one of these out nor have I received anything in writing about this. They had a lot of personal information like my social security number, previous addresses, etc. I was threatened to be sued in court and that they'd be contacting my HR department and having my wages garnished. I told them I thought it was a scam and to stop calling and hung up, but they kept calling back. They called a dozen times in two minutes before leaving a threatening voicemail about being sued and reporting against my credit report.
