Called to get gas turned on, they said there was a $322.00 deposit… unless I wished to get there special offer on security, there would be no deposit. They transferred me to Vivent security, I gave all may information to Vivent Security, when transferred back to gas company the guy said he listened to conversation….? They then asked if I wanted internet ? I said no, but they mentioned At&T. That’s when I called another number for gas company, they said they do not work with any third parties and there was no $322. Deposit! When I tried looking on line, “New call same day service” did not show up on line? I still had there number and called them back asking about this… they acted stupid. I then called Vivent security on another number from on line…. They had my information, I explained that the “gas company was telling me I would have to pay $322., they said they weren’t responsible for third parties…. I asked them why they allowed third parties to listen to our conversation? They quickly offered a refund. 2-3 days it would take. I’m just upset that they got all my information through fraudulent methods. I believe this acting Gas company telephone. Vivent security and possibly AT&T are all involved together to trick people into assuming they were all legit. Why was gas company able to listen to conversation with Security company and how did my phone through AT&T show a number that doesn’t appear on line with my phone…. No wonder gas company gave me another customer support number… this my be a very large sales and marketing scam, I hope someone has the brains to figure out! I smell a real big scam.
