My family and I recently lost our cat very suddenly, and were looking to purchase a new kitten. We found this "breeder" online, who we now realize is a scammer. We contacted the number on the website 4068720834, and they contacted us back from 731-602-6477. The breeder requested a deposit of $350 if we wanted the kitten, Brandon, listed on the website. I sent him a Zelle for the deposit amount, and booked a flight to pick up the kitten for 4/20. Last night, it had occurred to me that the man who contacted me was not listed as one of the breeders in the website bio. The address he sent me to pick up the kitten was also different than what was listed on the website, as it was an apartment in Nashville (not a farm outside of Nashville). When I requested more pictures of the kitten, he sent me photos that you can literally reverse google search and find on other websites. When I asked for pictures of his vaccine information and vet information, the man ghosted me. Unfortunately, I had already paid the $350. It is sad that he preyed on a grieving family. I hope someone can put a stop to this website.

We provided the man with our full names, cell phone numbers, email address, and full address. The last four digits of my bank account number were present in a screenshot.

Thought They Ipurchasing. Pure read kitten . They were supposed to send it to me. Then I got a letter say the shipping company needed money for special crate because of weather. So I had to send money for that. Then I got another email from shipping company saying I needed to purchase special insurance so I had to send money for that. Then I got another email fro the Animal Rescue Committee say I had to sen more money to insure the kittens health. I had no more money and never heard from them again. I feel like and [censored]. Web page looked very legitimate.

I located the website when researching the purchase of a Russian Blue Kitten. I applied via their website, and the conversation ensued via email. It all seemed very legit, including a sales contract, up until they requested a deposit via Western Union. What caught my attention was (1) the western union form of payment and (2) that the payment city/state and the city/state of the cattery were different places. I requested to pay via my credit card, which of course, was met with resistance. I then found the website on petscams.com and ceased communication.
