Type of a scam Online Purchase
They respond to their online inquiry form via text message with poor English, and ask for Apple Pay or Zelle as the only form of payments accepted.
Upon receiving the funds ($600 for puppy and $200 for shipping directly to your doorstep), phones are disconnected and money lost.
They provided 2 numbers: one is posing as Rose (the “wife”) who might not even exist, and a foreign man with a deep heavy African-sounding accent who poses as the “husband”. Scammers and Frauds!
