I was looking for a horse to buy and rocky trail ranch came up. I asked the seller Timothy Fisher to call me. He did and talked about the horse. I agreed to send him money. I then started to feel funny about it so I looked it up and contacted another seller and they said it was a scam.

The scammer posts horses and ponies available for sale on their website. They require a down payment in order to hold the animal pushing that you must give them a down payment to hold said animal because others are also interested and ready to buy. The down payment is the full amount of the animal luckily, I was not able to provide that amount of funding through my bank in one day or they would have taken me for over $2500. Prior to making the funds transfer, I asked if the DP was a refundable payment if I changed my mind and they confirmed that I would be reimbursed, which of course never happened. They simply quit responding to my tests and emails. I have inquired as to what is needed from me to have the monies refunded as they confirmed they would be, and they will not respond to this either. They have posted successful deal on their Satisfied Customers page, but it never changes or grows. The horses and ponies listed page never changes either, shows no sold animals. This along with their urgency to get monies for the DP should have been red flags, along with the phone number they advertise. If one calls this number there is s recording that indicates the number is no longer in service, another red flag I missed. They will press to get you to transfer funds to their bank account in Bitcoin as opposed to using USD, but if pressed will take the USD as well. This is the email and Bank Transfer information they provided to me: Hello,

Here is the bank information you will be sending the bank wire transfer payment to my Accountant account information since he is the one handling all my finances, Please use the information as written below:

Please check this operation out, I know I am not the only one that has been scammed by them. Thank you.

Will push to get you money as down payment so secure a horse or poney they are showing online for sale, confirms the downpayment is refundable then never send the refund! You cannot get through on the (747) 500-5524 number, the recording will tell you it is no longer in service, so they are clearly using a phone app of some sort with other apps or phone numbers to scam you. BEWARE!

I came across the website because a friend messaged me saying they saw my horse for sale on that site. I went to it and yes he has my horse posted for sale. He used all my pictures. I looked al the other horses he has posted for sale and they are all horses he took pictures of that sold at auction. This guy is listing horses he does not have.

I made an inquiry on my horse and he email me this.

This outstanding ranch horse is gentle for anyone to ride and be around. He collects up beautifully, travels real smooth, will lope out on cue and has a great stop, back up and side pass. He is very user friendly to ride in the arena, around the neighborhood. He is rock solid on the trail and is very sure footed and navigates our rugged mountain trails with precision and ease. He will lead or follow or go out alone. He is equally as good around our busy neighborhood. Fast vehicles, bikes, barking dogs and anything else one might encounter are fine with him.

Bubblegum is a finished and outstanding ranch horse that does all the ranch chores. From gathering cattle in rough country to dragging calves in the branding pen it’s just another day at the office for him. This horse would fit many people. He would do very well at cowboy dressage, drill team, grand entry rodeo, trail trials or ranch versatility. Not to mention just a darn beautiful trail horse. He is 100% safe, sane, and sound with no bad habits. Outstanding ground manners. If you want to ride a truly beautiful gelding that you can trust, keep you safe, one you can look good on and get noticed, look no further just found him! This is a rare find and is a horse that anyone would be proud to own.

I am located in Sylmar, California. Visiting is by appointment only If you would like to come out. We can also make arrangements and have him hauled over to you for an extra $1,500 if you can't make it here. Bubblegum is going for $5,800. I messaged back and said I will pick up the horse myself tell me where. This was his reply.

We have a procedure of which if your coming to our ranch to ride the horse your interested in you will have to put down a refundable deposit so as for us to secure the horse of your interest so as for the horse not to be sold to the next client since your not the only client having interest in that particular horse and the deposit is fully refundable if you change your mind about the horse . Deposit is %40 percent of the original price of a horse .

He is scamming people. He has all the horses listed very cheap way lower than their value so people think it is a good deal.
