Could this be, "This Phone Scam Just Needs you to say 'Yes'. Hang up Instead!"

I have a landline phone through Mediacom

I received a call today, April 16th, from RNC 202-381-9043. The male caller asked if I was there by name and I did say "Yes, this is _____" Then he hung up. I waited then there was a dial tone. What do I do now? I did redial that number and heard a recording "Thank you for calling the National Republican Committee.." I hung up after Committee. I'm scared. Since this just happened, no money has been lost yet. I'm guessing a credit card has been compromised. I had to choose one for it to submit.

The best way to get a hold of me is by email listed within questionnaire. I will respond in a timely manner.
