I got phone call from Ann Marshall a tech for Microsoft saying my computer had a virus. She sounded Indian. My computer was already on, so I gave her remote control of my computer. She transferred my call to man with RN Fix, 888-251-7224. He asked for my credit card to charge me $700, which I gave him. He asked for my mother's maiden name, which I gave him. I called my credit card company. My credit card company declined the transaction. The company was foreign.

Scammer locked my computer, a voice announced that my IP address had been compromised and stated that I was required to call a number under a Microsoft logo to have the problem fixed. I called and an MS certified technician "scanned" my computer and then sold my a product that would last a lifetime and protect any device using my router. Afterward, I researched the company. Their website is professional and they claim to have an address in Virginia Beach, VA, but there is no building at that address. I scanned my computer for malware and 9 items were removed. The company called me the next day to check on my service. I requested a refund and they sent me an email that looked like a refund but then said an error occurred and the refund could not be processed. Their 3rd party payment processor is NEXO Secure Shop which is a European company. Classic internet tech support scam which I now see that you describe on your ScamPulse.com website.

+1

The Microsoft technicians said I needed automatic security given by level 9 technicians, These 3rd party techs said I needed this security because 21 trojans were hacking my bank accounts. Then price for this was 800.20 I gave them my credit number because I was fearful.
