If you receive a call from a joe stevens or an anthony or a catherine adams these are scammers passing as a debt collector mediation litigation and will leave u threatening voicemails if u dont return the call and settle the debt that supposedly they are trying to help you

With they will ask you for ur debit card info and send u some lame piece of paper staring ur patment arrangements then after a couple of payments they will call you and tell that the payment center should not be paid and that you need to send a money order directly to the office i fell victim to these people DO NOT FALL FOR IT

I was contacted by a person telling me I was being served and needed my address, so I asked what this was in regards too and he gave me a phone number of a company to call. So I called the number and they told me I owed a debt from 2014 and needed to pay $886 or fraud charges would be filed on me then I would owe $2000. So I told them I would call them back. So I called back and the guy was very nice till I said I would not pay the whole amount but that I would prefer a payment plan, to which he got angry. I then asked to talk to his supervisor and he was nice as I explained how rude his coworker was. Then I told him I needed payments set up and he said that is fine and we set up payments, it was after I asked for his name and spelling and a letter of confirmation of debt that he got irate and started screaming and cursing and hung up on me. That is when I knew it was a scam. And upon calling same number back all of a sudden my information and account is gone and keep getting hung up on.

I got a call on May 16th, 2018 from what I thought was from our Shelby county shieffs office saying they need my information so they can send some papers to serve me but if I didn't want that all I have to do is call the RMA Recovery to make a settlement, I did and he explained to everything and it sounds legit so I gave my information. But after I discussed my information with family they stated this is a scam.
