- Arco, ID, USA

Consumer called and advised he has been talking with a gentleman by the name of Rex Stevens via Facebook messenger.

We have been talking for about a week, he talked to me from Facebook messenger and gave me forms to fill out because I was supposed to be getting $160,000 from the IMF. I gave him my address, phone number, income, how I want my money, etc. I did not give him my social security number or any other personal information. I I have given him copies of my driver's license and some credit cards. After I sent him 2 - $50 Amazon Gift Cards he told me he needed $2,000 more. I told him I didn't have any money and he told me that he would pay off my credit cards so I could go and buy him $2,000 in ITunes giftcards. Rex DID pay off 3 of my cards and tried to pay off my Capitol One card (but I didn't give him a copy of that one) but they rejected it because it was too much.
