Type of a scam Employment
I was contacted via email by someone claiming to be “Michael Oliver” from a company called “Reliable Runs LLC” offering me a work-from-home position as a “Remote Quality Inspector” or “Quality Control Inspector.” The sender's email address was [email protected].
They sent me links to a Google Document job offer and a Google Form to submit my personal information. The job involves receiving packages at my home, inspecting them, and reshipping them using prepaid labels. They claim the position pays $3,200 per month, and no upfront payment is required.
Here are some details they provided:
Company name: Reliable Runs LLC
Website: https://reliableruns.com/
Phone number: (315) 226-4778
Job description involves reshipping packages after "inspection"
Salary: $3,200/month after a 30-day probation period
From my research and the nature of the role, this appears to be a parcel reshipping scam, which I understand may be linked to fraud involving stolen goods or identity theft. I have not responded or submitted any personal information, but I want to ensure this scam is reported and investigated.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.
