I received 2 text messages Sunday, October 1, 2017, one at 8:25 AM and the other at 8:26 AM. The messages claimed to be from the HR for the Walmart Mystery shopper assignment. The message was from: +13109287452. On Monday, October 2, 2017 I received a priority mail envelope showing the return address I have indicated above. It told me to deposit or cash the check at my bank (it read YOUR BANK in caps and bold print.) It then instructed me to go to any Walmart and pick 4 Walmart Gift Cards of $400 each. Included in this package was a Bank of America check for $1913.00 from the AMERICAN SOCTY OF CIVIL ENGNRS CENTRAL JERSEY BRANCH ( I'm not misspelling, that is exactly how it appeared at the top of the check.)

I am not responding to text messages. I would love to be able to deposit $1913.00 into my bank account, but I'm just not quite that naive. If I can give you any further information, I will be more that happy to.

By the way, my wife and I are retired seniors.
