This company contacted my elderly mother by phone stating that she had over 200 viruses on her computer. The computer already has virus and malware protection. They told her they would need access to her computer to help remove the viruses. Real Tech Solutions then said it would cost her $299.99 to safe guard her computer for life, but she could pay a down payment over the phone of $99. She asked to be mailed a paper copy of the receipt , at first she was told they would do that. It has been 4 weeks so she called them again today and they claimed they never send anything through the mail, only email. the man she spoke with also claimed they didn't have a physical address. Below is a cut and paste of the email she received.

On Feb. 2, 2016 a company called "Real Tech Solutions" had a pop-up that appeared with an alarm that said it to call a number. It indicated that Microsoft had detected a problem on the computer and not to turn off. They took control of the computer and put their software on it. They obtained credit card information for computer "services". The address of the company is: Real Tech Solutions, 3044 Parker Green Trail, Charlotte, NC 28269. The web address of the company is: http://www.real-tech-solutions.com/contact-us.html A call was made on 2-29-2016 to Real Tech Solutions asking what was actually fixed on the computer, but no answer was provided--only that they would provide a call-back and that they could not refund the money because the charge occured over 20 days ago. There is a 30 day money back guarantee in writing--today is day 27.
