I posted my resume on Indeed and was contacted by Ronnie Raj who claimed to be a recruiter for Quest Diagnostics. He said that I fit all the qualifications and needed to first go over my identification to do an interview. He asked for my social security, dob and verrify address.Then after going over my work background, he said that he would contact the hiring manager to set up an interview. I was sent an email and text informing me about the job offer and phone interview and was asked to reply to the email as conformation of acceptance. The guy spoke in a heavy India accent. The interview was set up, and he called and coached me with a second person on the phone. I was given a phone number to call for the interview, which i was to call at an exact set time. I began to question the whole thing, and thought about going to the Quest web site. It was on there wrb site i found a notice the they had been experiencing fraud activities through Indeed from bogus recruitment. So, I called Quest directly to see if they knew or used these recruiters. HR lady said no, and they only hire off their web site. The next morning i received a call from Ronnie again, coaching me for the interview. Thats when i unquestioned him about his motives, he said "oh no, we would not do that." I did not call the number given me for the phone interview, but the woman from a Florida phone called me 907-687-6877. I questioned her and told her Quest did not know her, and that there was not even a job position on Quest site for the one she was offering me. She said becausr the job was temporary...and was at a Dr.s office not a Quest site. She became hostile telling me she would never hire me. I told her I know shes a scame and she hung up. I then put a lock on my social security number.
