Scammers advertised selling teacup maltese dogs. When I inquired they immediately engaged and started emailing me answers to all of my many questions. Very friendly but not sure if answers were AI generated. Requested funds through Zelle before they would ship me the dog (with a free shipping special). I did not send money. Instead I asked for info about their veterinarian and more pictures of the dog. They sent me info about a scam vet with a shell website and no business phone number. The additional photos they sent were obviously stock photos of dogs. When I questioned this they no longer responded to me.

We were buying a Border Collie. I asked to pay buy Pay Pal for a deposit. Then they only would Accept Zelle. Each time they wanted money, they used a different name and I felt that it was suspicious. I asked to do a face time to see the puppy and they wouldn’t do it. They were pushing me to make another payment using a different Zelle account. I then told them to refund my $300. Deposit. I texted and emailed this. They actually just called me right now to get the balance paid to ship the puppy. I again told them to refund my money.
