Back in 2017 I got a phone call from this company claiming that my computer had been infected with a virus, and this laptop that I am typing this note with, is the one with the problem, after talking with them on the phone, they told me that they could show me what the virus had infected, and could fix it. I followed their instructions and let them get control of my laptop, they explained that there was going to be a ONE time fee, it was Expensive in my thoughts, but I wanted to have my laptop running right. I Paid them with a check from my Wells Fargo account. Early part of 2018, I got another phone call from them and they indicated that, someone had tried to get into my bank account, and they wanted to put a fire wall or a new PROTECTIVE Service on my laptop, and I let them get control of my laptop again, according to them, this service would protect all the other ELECTRONIC devices in the house, our telephones and another laptop that my wife used, they payment that they asked for was Expensive as well, and I wrote another check. Months went by and the devices were working well, my wife got a call from them that she had done something and let something or someone into her laptop, they told her they could clear it up, BUT WE ARE UNDER THE THOUGHT THAT NEW NEW SERVICE THAT THEY CLAIMED THEY PUT INTO OUR PROTECTION WOULD HAVE PROTECTED OUR SYSTEM. So she paid to have her laptop cleared up supposedly. On January 7 2019, this company calls again and claims that there is something happening with My Wells Fargo bank account, and ask me if i have tried to do something in the state of Kansas, I tell them NO, now they want to show me what they have DETECTED, so I give them permission to take over my laptop and and show me, NOW they tell me that they are going to get me a private IP Number, they want me to Scan a picture of my DRIVERS LICENSE, that will help with the Process of getting the PRIVATE I Number, they say that my PUBLIC IP Number has been COMPROMISED,and ask me if I want my Personal stuff to be out there for anyone to take advantage of me, (US), their pitch to sell me the NEW information made since to me and I wrote another check, this time the wanted me to SCAN the check before I mailed it to them, this also is Expensive, and I have a receipt from them in the amount of $530.00, and the receipt says it will cover or system for 3 years. Now here is the KICKER, On February 18 2019, they call again , saying that someone in Kansas has tried to get into my account again, THIS TIME A HEATED DISCUSSION STARTED ON THE PHONE, AND I WAS NOT FALLING FOR THEIR FAKE LINES, I CALLED THEM OUT ON THE KANSAS THING,AND WHY THEY WANTED MORE MONEY, I TOLD THEM I BELIEVED THEY WERE SCAMMERS AND I WAS GOING TO REPORT THEM, AND SUDDENLY THEY HUNG UP ON ME, I called back and they wanted to act like they had never had any dealings with me, but I have a Receipt that shows how expensive their FRAUD was, plus a number that they implanted on our computers in case we need to get any help from them that bis different from the receipt 855-788-7466

Thank You for taking the time to read my note on this company, I PRAY IT HELPS, SO THAT OTHERS AREN'T TAKING ADVANTAGE OF

I contacted HP to help me set up a new printer. Was told they could not finish but would refer me to someone who could. Person pointed out I had been hacked but would solve the problem for $270. Six weeks after this, they called, pointed out how I had allowed a hacker to destroy certifications and offered to fix it for $540. I finally agreed. Both were to Infini Systems at Santa Clara location. Called again on 10-22-18. Same general approach and because of a stressful document I needed to finish, I finally agreed. This time I came back to a computer and saw a thoroughly useless contractual document that I had never seen but which had my e-signature on it dated at the time I was in line checking out at Costco. Clearly forgery and fraud, and now related to Plexus in Concord. I stopped the check I had mailed so lost no more. I have a 6 page thorough chronology of the process and further documents available upon request. The caller was apparently not related to HP. Someone identified as BJS wrote a report to the ScamPulse.com in September this year that mirrors my experience through the first 2 contacts. In my case they got greedy and actually had succeeded a third time before they forged my signature and referenced Plexus Support.

They indicated they were my support system and asked me to turn on my computer for a full refund that I purchased in March 2018. When I asked for their name they said don’t you remember I helped you with your computer problems. I asked him to state what he helped me with he hung up?

Trying to get a new printer hooked up to new computer. Used the HP web address, a chat box popped up and wanted to know how can I help you. Typed in what I needed. Said an IT person would call me. Of course, I am thinking it is someone with HP, but apparently was not. I allowed them access to my computer to help connect printer to computer. Once they had access, they informed me that we had a terrible virus and needed to put this security package on computer. They showed me all the red which indicated viruse attacking most of my computer. After seeing this I panicked and of course, they catch you totally off guard. At this point they have you. They would not take a credit card, but I had to scan them a copy of my check I wrote them. Of course, that is a way they get bank account number, etc. After all this, I realized I had been scammed. I did ask the girl on the phone if they were associated with HP and she said they take care of their overflow IT issues. I called HP and they said never heard of them. I sent a note to HP to let them know that this company was telling people they worked with HP. I never sent the real check. This was on a Sunday and on Monday received a call wanting to know if I sent the check. I said yes just to get them off my back and to allow us time to make bank account changes. We changed banks and accounts. We sent the computer to a local company and had everything removed and wiped clean. After about 3 weeks, got a call from plexus regarding the work they had done and the $260.00. The phone number they called me on was 1-610-410- which said Worcester, pa. I told him that I checked them out and they did not work with HP and lied to me. I knew we had been scammed and had notified HP to be aware of this. He told me my check had cleared and I said impossible, the check was never sent. Then he called me a liar. I hung up at that time. I am embarrassed that I let this happen, but they are really good at convincing one that their computer is being overcome by a virus. I don’t want anyone else to go through this.

In late June, I received a phone call from Plexus stating that my computer has a virus and that they need me to send $450 in order to fix it. I sent the money via money wire. I didn't think much about it until today when the company called again stating they need my social security number in order to issue me a refund as I had overpaid them. I will no longer be answering phone calls from this company.
