I purchased a pest control product from PestDefence.com on 12/6/2024 for $104.93 using a debit card that I have never used for online purchases, only mortgage and HOA payments and neither of which were subject to database breaches. I have had this card since 2021 with no fraud issues. When I looked at my order confirmation email from Pest Defence, it listed the company name as Modern Lifestyle Shop at 2345 Vauxhall Rd, Union, NJ 07083. When my account was debited, it listed the company name as VaultLifestyleShop. On 01/11/2025 I received a debit card fraud alert from my bank regarding an attempted online purchase from a company I have never heard of - something about energy or supplements around $200. Since the Pest Defence website was the only unusual website I have made a purchase from, I feel that they scammed my debit card information. I can't prove it, but there is 0% chance of this being a coincidence.
