I received a text message stating that a $1.00 shipping fee to USPS was needed in order to complete delivery of a phone I am expecting. THIS SITE LOOKS SO CREDIBLE, with all the USPS logos and whatnot. After entering credit card infomation, says it cannot process order due to system failure and you are immediately directed to a (FAKE) YOU WON SOMETHING website. That's when know this is not USPS. Charges are immediately siphoned for a subscription to a dating website. NOT ONLY do they try to get a $39.95 membership fee, then they tried a second attempt to get the $1.00 fee for a tablet/iPhone. My only fear is how did they know I was awaiting shipment of a cellphone. All this started after I went On a LIHEAP assistance website seeking help with utility bills. I received about 30 emails from different LIHEAP (FAKE) affiliates. So now that's two companies names and logos imposed to create this scam.

HOW ARE WE AS CONSUMERS TO KNOW WHO WE'RE DEALING WITH IF I CAN USE A COMPANYS NAME AND LOGOS TO PRECIPITATE A SCAM.
