I received a phone call from an unfamiliar number with a 619 area code. They left a voicemail claiming to be a compliance officer from Harris County Texas and they were warning me of some sort of pending legal action from the local government and that I needed to contact them immediately. The glaring red flag about this was that they were calling from a San Diego area code claiming to be a representative from the local government in Houston. The number they leave on the voicemail for me to call was 877-450-2030 and when you call it no one identifies who they are. After finally getting a human voice I asked what company they were and the lady told me they were Paramount Litigations.
