I ordered a copy of my Oregon birth certificate on or about September 9, 2023, and paid with my bank debit card. I was promptly charged $128.00. I requested a refund when they kept requesting additional proof of address. I canceled;led my debit card and contacted my bank. I never got a refund from National Records or my bank. They did call me back saying they needed more info. Then they said they were going to fulfill my birth certificate request. I haven't heard back from them since.

NOTE: Although the person on the phone from National Records said they were in Washington DC, my bank statement says the money went to the UK.
