I was approached through Instagram by Nelsonandparker.com with a promotion offering significant discounts due to a supposed business closing. The website appeared legitimate, so I placed an order and entered my credit card number and personal information (name, address, phone number, email).

After completing the transaction, I received no shipping updates. When I contacted my credit card company to dispute the charge, Nelsonandparker sent a fake tracking number that did not link to any valid shipment. The shipping app was based in Canada, but the listed shipper was from China.

After I declined the transaction, the company emailed me saying the products were delayed due to customs issues. However, no product ever arrived.

This business appears to be using deceptive tactics to collect money and personal information from customers, then refusing to fulfill orders. I am submitting this complaint so that others can be warned, and appropriate actions can be taken against this fraudulent site.

I saw an ad for some tarot cards on instagram. They looked cute so I ordered them and didn’t really think much about it. Then I got an email to track the order and the track is weird and confusing. It’s saying Italy but when I order the product it did advertise that it was shipping out of the country. I pretty much knew I got scammed after that. No product and no refund. I’ve reached about five times through email and they keep saying it’s on it way. We both know that’s not true and it’s been over a month now.

I saw the adds for Everized Montessori Magic Cubes on Instagram. After reviewing the product on their website and deciding that according to the pictures, details, and description advertised and provided, the cubes were large (1.65") and safe enough for my 1 year old son to play with, I purchased 1 set. An item was delivered several weeks later which they claimed was the product I ordered, but was in no way the item I purchased. A small package of very small (

The tracking number they provided is ******************. I requested the order to be canceled and refunded. They said it shipped. But if you track this number it's still processing since 2-10-2025 Order was placed on 2-9-2025. They state the location of business is New York. But the shipping is China. I think this place is a scam! It was an add on instagram.

I should've ran the moment I saw it was an ad on instagram, as my friend warned me afterwards I had already purchased items from them, to never get something advertised rampantly on social media sites. Couple of things:

When I got the packaging, I was surprised it was all under one not so particularly thick packaging. Then I opened it and realized the material is very cheap in appearance, feel and 100% polyester so no wonder it folded and fit too nicely and looked nothing like what's on the website. A completely false advertisement on their cotton and linen blends. Even getting a pair of regular scrubs from a legit website will have its own packaging and be thicker than these chinese companies shoving seven things into one package lol.

Colors/print are heavily degraded, almost pixelated. What you see on the website doesn't match at all with what you get. I got a wrong color for one of my shirts.

Website had some but not complete grammatical errors mixed in with tiktok lingo (attempt to maybe appeal to teens/young adults?) and otherwise had many too good to be true discounts

Nowhere to leave reviews other than discovering these type of videos on youtube

If you googled rococity beforehand, you will see it is listed under an "avoid this site, it's a scam" post. I did google beforehand and vaguely saw something of this nature but was too dumb to process it at the time.

If you have a good credit card, it'll warn you it's a scam before you purchase, "your card detected suspicious activity from this company and declined the purchase". I thought it might've been a glitch because I never had that happen to me before and went ahead and purchased it with paypal instead (which is why the site offers it, as paypal won't warn you but your CC will!). I did message my CC after and they said they can't do anything until products arrive, in terms of addressing why it detected it was a scam.

Size won't match, not because it's asian clothing, but they clearly are sending out products that are the completely wrong size and mislabelling it something different

I paid the price so now I've learned my lesson. Rococity is quite clever at what they do. They will send you products but the products won't be what they advertise. You then don't have a strong claim against your CC to refund you because you got a product anyways even if it's inferior or not what's advertised.

I won't even attempt a refund because it'll be a hassle, but I am still surprised and disappointed at myself for falling so easily for their scam, mainly because their selling point is the products look very good on the site until it lands on your hands. I'm going to at least donate these clothes to make use of it. Ended up keeping one of them because it looked passable lol. They don't even have a phone number.

I received this advertisement on my Instagram account. ShopPay app features this company Comfytag or Enjoytag as one of their sellers so I thought this was legitimate. The sneakers never came. Instead, they sent a little card that says thank you. They should not be allowed to advertise with a real platform.

I ordered clothing from an instagram ad from this company and never got the products. they are now emailing me saying they'll give me 50% back even though I didn't receive anything at all why would I accept 50% then they said okay we'll refund you 70% and now they're saying okay we'll refund you 90% back. I disputed the charge with my credit card company and they refunded the money but this is 100% a scam.
