Matthew Griffis was found on Thumbtack. He said he was a contractor who could wallpaper and paint. he was hired to work on my bathroom and dinning room. He worked one day, Aug. 18 2025. He requested to be paid before the job was completed because he was taking his family on vacation. He would be gone a week, but would finish the work when he got home. I did pay him, because he had been talking about his kids and family. I trusted him to do as he stated. His work was terrible, the wallpaper was a mess and he missed so many spots while painting. I did text him and complain. His phone number was full and not working. I asked for my money returned, but that never happened and he never finished the job. He has texted that he never went on vacation and my money had been spent.
